PTA News:

NRE Family Movie Night 

Our outdoor movie night is back, save the date for Friday, October 13th. There will be a brief PTA Meeting followed by a showing of Disney’s Monsters Inc. Come hang with us, feel free to bring a picnic dinner and your lawn chairs and/or blankets. Movie concessions will be available for sale as well as our new spirit wear! Boosterthon Kickoff 

The day is here! You can now register for our North Ridge Elementary Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $65,000 for school resources. Spirit Night at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

Please join us for our first Spirit Night of the year at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. Wednesday October 18th from 4:00 until close grab dinner and help raise money for our school! Please be sure to mention NRE when ordering and they will donate 15% of the sales to our school. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant or take it to go and help support NRE!!

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is located in the Olive Park Shopping Center at 9402 Falls of Neuse Road.

Academics

Looking for information about report cards or NC standards for k-5 in all subjects? Check out this site - https://www.wcpss.net/Page/59 to get more information. If you have specific questions about a grade level or standard please contact your child’s teacher! 

Social Emotional Learning Support 

At North Ridge Elementary, we use the structures in Conscious Discipline to provide a safe, welcoming learning environment for all students. Here is a link to more information - https://consciousdiscipline.com/methodology/ - CD is an Adult First Model, which means we have to be our best selves to serve and teach our students. Throughout the school year we will share more information about the structures.
