Campus Clean Up Day
Please come out and help clean up our campus! Campus Clean Up Day will be October 28th with two sessions, 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Feel free to come to one or both! We will continue weeding and mulching. We'd also love to add plants to the campus. If you have any you would like to donate, please email Laura Berglund at lberglund@wcpss.net.

Spirit Night at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar
Please join us for our first Spirit Night of the year at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. Wednesday October 18th from 4:00 until close grab dinner and help raise money for our school! Please be sure to mention NRE when ordering and they will donate 15% of the sales to our school. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant or take it to go and help support NRE!! Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is located in the Olive Park Shopping Center at 9402 Falls of Neuse Road.
Academics

Social Emotional Learning Support
At North Ridge Elementary, we use the structures in Conscious Discipline to provide a safe, welcoming learning environment for all students. Here is a link to more information - https://consciousdiscipline.com/methodology/ - CD is an Adult First Model, which means we have to be our best selves to serve and teach our students. Throughout the school year we will share more information about the structures.
