We need your help with Unicornucopia

North Ridge Families, 

The count down to Unicornucopia is on!  Next Friday, May 5th is the big day and we need your help to make this happen!  We are looking for volunteers to run booths for every grade level as well as drink donations! This event will not be possible without a lot of volunteers so we need your help!  Please find your grade level link below to sign up for a spot to help!

Also, the last day to send in money to pre-buy wristbands will be Wednesday April 26th.  If you would like to buy tickets in person with a credit card you may do so before school  or in the evening on May 1st or during carpool on Wednesday May 3rd.  All wristbands that were pre-bought will be sent home on Monday May 1st with your child.  Thank you for helping to make Unicornucopia a great success, we could not do this without you.

Panorama Parent Survey 

We appreciate your feedback on how to continue to improve our school. Our district has created a parent survey to be conducted by individual schools. North Ridge’s survey is found at surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family . Thank you for participating in the survey! 

Planning of Next School Year 

It is hard to believe that we are planning for next school year, but here we are. If you would like to provide feedback for your child’s placement for next year, please complete this form. The form will ask for the type of teaching environment that your child will do well with, students that are a good pairing and students that are not a good match with your child. Please complete the form for each individual student.

Proctoring For EOGs

We are in need of parent volunteers to assist in proctoring our EOGs in the end of May and early June. They would need to be registered volunteers who might be interested in serving as EOG proctors, I'd be honored to have their help. Most proctoring days will last from 9-1. Unicornucopia 

Do you have a spare cooler to loan? A free 45 minutes to help with ticket sales? What about some pre-school dismissal time to help set up what should basically be known as North Raleigh's Disney World? Well, then you're ready to help make this year's UNICORNUCOPIA the best one yet! 

Unicornucopia cannot happen without volunteers, so we need EVERYONE (that means YOU!) to help make this FUNdraising event a huge success (and a blast for our amazing Unicorns). It looks like this has been delayed or changed from the discussion that I had with the builders of the bank on 3/31. If I receive new information, I will share it.

Celebrating Ms. Heyward! 

This week is Assistant Principal Appreciation week! We would love for her to receive handmade cards from families on Thursday April 13th and flood her office with these cards.

Harps Mill closure: 

Please be aware that Harps Mill Road off of Falls of Neuse will be closed for approximately the next two weeks for construction to sidewalks and road work. Please plan accordingly as there will be detours marked.
